Staff Accountant

About the role

A mentored early career accounting role focused on learning to manage enterprise accounting for client companies and delivering financial information that supports their decisions.

What you will do

• Own engagement-level client relationships and carry a client load
• Oversee client accounting activities and deliver accurate monthly and internal financial statements under GAAP
• Review and approve client compliance schedules, onboarding and accounting policies and procedures
• Manage finance relationships with vendors, banks, credit cards and merchant processors
• Coordinate tax return and audit processes, handling requests from tax and audit teams
• Partner with colleagues across functions, including an offshore team

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, computer science or a related field
• One to five years of accounting experience in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication, analytical and time management abilities
• Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to clients
• Ability to multitask effectively while working remotely
• High attention to detail and comfort meeting strict deadlines
