What you will do

• Lead architecture of LLM and agentic systems for detection, response and remediation
• Choose model strategy, deciding between frontier, open-source, fine-tuned or distilled models
• Set up evals as the release gate and optimize inference for quality, latency and cost
• Mentor engineers, run design reviews and partner with product and platform teams

What they look for

• Eight or more years in software or ML engineering, with two or more building production LLM or agentic systems
• A record of delivering scalable AI systems used by several teams or products
• Deep understanding of transformer internals, fine-tuning and inference optimization
• Ability to judge when LLMs fit and when predictive AI or classical ML is better
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience across an organization
