Bilingual Employment Law Paralegal and Intake Specialist

About the role

A dual role acting as the first contact for people facing workplace problems, screening new enquiries and helping the attorney prepare cases before litigation.

What you will do

• Handle incoming calls, web enquiries and texts from prospective clients using set screening scripts
• Gather case details on employers, dates of employment, reasons for termination and pay issues, recording them in the CRM
• Carry out preliminary case assessments and flag urgent leads to the attorney the same day
• Send and track retainer agreements and intake forms, arrange consultations and manage the attorney calendar
• Organise client documents, build case chronologies and draft demand letters and agency filings from templates

What they look for

• At least one year in a US law firm as an intake specialist or paralegal, ideally in employment, personal injury or plaintiff work
• Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish with a calm and compassionate telephone manner
• Clear, well structured written English so the attorney can assess notes without follow up calls
• Practical experience with legal case management software and e-signature tools
• Understanding of confidentiality, personal data protection and attorney client privilege
