Bilingual Employment Law Paralegal and Intake Specialist

About the role

A dual role handling first contact with prospective clients and supporting an attorney before litigation. The person screens cases, gathers facts and prepares early documents.

What you will do

• Take inbound calls, web leads and texts, screening potential clients with set scripts
• Record case details such as employers, employment dates, termination reasons and pay issues in the CRM
• Run preliminary evaluations on deadlines, employer size and contract status, flagging urgent leads
• Send and track retainers and intake forms, book consultations and manage the attorney calendar
• Organise client files, build case chronologies, chase records and draft demand letters and agency filings

What they look for

• At least one year in a US law firm as an intake specialist or paralegal, ideally in employment or plaintiff side work
• Fluent spoken English and Spanish with a calm, caring and professional phone manner
• Clear structured written English so the attorney can assess notes without follow up calls
• Hands on use of legal case management systems such as Clio, MyCase, Filevine or Lawmatics, plus e-signature tools
• Understanding of confidentiality, personal data protection and attorney client privilege
