What you will do
- Build, maintain and expand broker relationships in an assigned territory through planned meetings and strategic contact.
- Promote value added products and advice, and show brokers the merits of integrated bank offerings.
- Support brokers by working with centers of influence, accountants and real estate agents, and join client seminars.
- Carry out front line risk management by applying compliance and company policies with brokers and escalating concerns.
- Share best practices with other business development managers and flag product improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate territory business development with other bank and financial group representatives.

- Solid grasp of personal and commercial lending policies and practices.
- Seven or more years of banking or credit experience.
- At least five years in the mortgage broker environment.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills, with strong negotiation ability.
- Highly organized and self disciplined, with business planning and territory management skills.
- Good knowledge of the bank's mortgage products, the Windows PC environment and the regulatory and legal landscape.
Nice to have
- An industry designation such as AMP, held or in progress.
