Business Development Manager

About the role

Drive growth by getting products specified into commercial, industrial and institutional projects, and by coordinating go-to-market efforts across sales and marketing.

What you will do

• Execute the business development strategy to expand product specifications in target sectors
• Build processes and systems for prospecting new commercial roof and wall opportunities
• Use CRM and construction data tools to gather insights and position products
• Work with marketing and engineering to keep specifications aligned with market needs
• Give presentations to customer offices and attend industry events within the territory
• Partner with operations, estimating, sales and marketing to deliver results

What they look for

• Experience selling technically oriented products
• Ability to persuade customers to adopt new products and approaches
• Understanding of marketing concepts and the sales process
• Skill at running several projects at once without losing quality
• Comfort with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and in-person presenting

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, sales, marketing or a related field
