What you will do

• Gather medical records, bills, police reports, photos and insurance paperwork to complete case files
• Chase outstanding items with hospitals, imaging centers, employers and government agencies
• Upload and label documents accurately in Litify so files stay organized
• Keep case managers informed on progress and outstanding items
• Update client, treatment, provider and insurance details throughout pre-litigation
• Spot documentation gaps and follow up until records and bills are complete

What they look for

• Prior work at a US personal injury law firm, including retrieving medical records and bills
• Comfort handling both records clerk and case manager assistant duties
• Strong written and spoken English for contact with clients, providers and insurers
• Excellent organization and detail focus, with independent follow-through on many cases
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, plus Litify or a similar case management system
• Full-time availability 8:30 to 5:00 PST with reliable internet and a dedicated workspace

Nice to have

• Hands-on Litify use for organizing documents and tracking requests
• Experience requesting HIPAA authorizations and updating treatment records
• Coordinating with several medical providers at once
