Content Lawyer, Corporate and Private M&A

About the role

Create and maintain practical legal content for an online resource aimed at Canadian legal professionals, drawing on subject matter expertise in corporate and private M&A. The role offers an alternative legal career combining writing, legal innovation and collaboration.

What you will do

• Write, review and edit practice notes, checklists, flowcharts and precedents
• Keep all product materials current and relevant, and monitor legal developments
• Work in a cross-functional team to execute content and product strategies on time
• Support sales and marketing through demonstrations and trainings

What they look for

• J.D. or LL.B. and active membership in good standing of a Canadian provincial or territorial bar
• Strong practical writing skills and clear, concise communication
• Experience drafting or editing client materials, law journals or CLE presentations
• Proficiency with MS Office and experience using AI and LLM tools in a professional workflow

Nice to have

• Fluency in French
