Director, Clinical Vendor Strategy

About the role

This role owns the clinical outsourcing approach and supplier governance across a development portfolio, working with many internal teams so trials are delivered well. It also guides cross functional work to improve how outsourcing models scale and perform.

What you will do

• Shape outsourcing plans for proposals and requests for proposals, matching study needs, schedules, budgets and quality expectations
• Assess and recommend suppliers, advising on their abilities, available capacity, worldwide coverage and readiness to operate
• Work with vendor management colleagues to deepen supplier ties, make costs clearer and inform sourcing choices
• Explain outsourcing approaches during bid defenses and sponsor meetings to back business development
• Design and run efforts that streamline and scale outsourcing, raising efficiency, quality and predictability
• Advise on supplier performance, risks and capacity to guide portfolio planning, and keep outsourced work compliant with ICH-GCP and inspecti
