Field Sales Executive, Cloud Software Solution Sales

About the role

Covers a defined territory of accounting practices, growing existing accounts and finding new ones. Reports to a divisional sales manager and works to quotas and forecasts.

What you will do

• Learn the full product line, including features, pricing and how it compares with competitors, through a new-hire training program.
• Manage an assigned account list, segment customers by size and type, and keep Salesforce CRM records current.
• Prospect and book meetings, attend trade shows and give group presentations to build interest in the products.
• Grow existing client business and pass unmet client needs to product managers as functional specifications.

What they look for

• A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, marketing or a related field, or six or more years of equivalent experience.
• Comfort with a quota-carrying sales process and with planning and scheduling your own sales activity.
• Ability to build an annual business plan with pipeline predictions, weekly reports and quarterly forecasts.
• Willingness to research decision-makers and influencers and maintain daily and weekly calling lists.
