Field Services Technician, On Site Service

About the role

A field operations role focused on keeping wind turbine generators running reliably. The technician handles upkeep, fixes and performance tuning of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems at customer sites.

What you will do

• Carry out scheduled upkeep, swap out parts and repair faults on turbine systems
• Track down and fix complicated mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems on variable pitch and variable speed machines
• Run electrical diagnostics to improve how turbines perform
• Keep precise digital records of every service task performed
• Coordinate troubleshooting and system updates with the remote operations centre
• Work alongside site leaders to meet daily contractual and customer targets with little supervision

What they look for

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least five years working as a wind technician
• Three or more years specialising in hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting
• Hands on experience with standard power hydraulic tools
• Prior experience leading field teams
• Able to read electrical schematics, technical manuals and industry rules

Pay

USD 55.17 to 65.54 per hour
