What you will do

• Direct and develop 15 sales professionals across several levels of the organisation.
• Build and run a multi-level sales plan that grows revenue and keeps existing business.
• Set up marketing initiatives and sales activities for assigned accounts.
• Meet customers and prospects to open up the full range of products and services.
• Track competitor strengths and weaknesses, then carry out the response strategy.

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, transportation or a related field.
• At least seven years of sales management, including competitive analysis and negotiation.
• Advanced grasp of balance sheets, cost of capital, depreciation and tax reporting.
• Expert knowledge of transportation and the food industry, including freight logistics.
• Proven ability to motivate others, drive results and manage vision and purpose.

Nice to have

• Five or more years of national sales experience.
• A graduate degree or equivalent experience.
