Key Account Manager

About the role

An individual contributor sales role focused on launching a new kidney transplant therapy in the US market. The person builds the first sales foundation in a new territory and works across functions to hit launch revenue goals.

What you will do

• Create strategic account plans that identify opportunities and stakeholders and lift product use in suitable patients
• Cultivate lasting professional ties with prescribers, hospital staff and transplant teams
• Navigate complicated hospital, academic and transplant settings to reach decision makers
• Answer customer questions within approved labeling and training, routing other inquiries to the right partners
• Track market trends and account decisions affecting access, then plan for formulary listing and EMR inclusion
• Coordinate with market access, medical, operations, marketing and trade colleagues on territory and national strategy

What they look for

• Track record of building sales in new territories and meeting or beating targets
• Ability to develop and carry out sales strategies for a product launch
• Strong grasp of clinical and scientific detail in the relevant disease area
• Skill at managing a territory budget to support strategy execution
• Comfort planning and running local exhibits and promotional speaker events
