Legal Counsel, Privacy and Technology

About the role

Provides the main legal support to the technology and security leadership, turning technical requirements into precise legal language. Handles privacy, security and SaaS contracts while advising on compliance risk.

What you will do

• Act as primary legal support to the technology and security leadership, translating technical specifications into legal language
• Assist internal teams with RFPs and client due diligence questionnaires and handle general commercial agreements

What they look for

• A legal degree from an accredited institution
• At least two years of experience as a legal practitioner, legal officer, paralegal or similar role
• Qualification to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
• Experience handling technology, privacy or security matters
• Proven experience drafting, reviewing and editing contracts
• Strong legal research, analytical and organizational skills with excellent English communication

Nice to have

• Experience at a technology company
• Experience with data processing agreements, security exhibits and SaaS contracts
