Manager, Mainframe Systems Programming

About the role

A leadership role overseeing mainframe systems programming teams, including day-to-day operations, project tracking and people management. The manager keeps staff current through training and aligns team goals with the wider business.

What you will do

• Coordinate and delegate the work of assigned systems programming teams
• Oversee daily operations, project management and status reporting
• Run training sessions so staff gain new knowledge and skills
• Conduct reviews and set yearly goals aligned with the business unit
• Manage the team ticket queue and follow up on aging tickets
• Provide technical support for software solutions and risk assessment
