Manager, Sales Development

About the role

Leads and coaches a team of sales development representatives who open partnerships with K to 12 schools and districts. The manager designs lead generation strategies and reports to the director of strategic sales.

What you will do

• Coach, develop and manage a team of onshore sales development representatives
• Own team results on meetings, qualified pipeline, conversion and territory coverage, using data to spot gaps
• Design lead generation approaches that resonate with district and school administrators
• Build scalable processes, outreach playbooks, cadences and enablement
• Recruit, onboard and retain strong talent with clear feedback and performance management
• Use Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong and other tools for performance, workflows and reporting

What they look for

• Two to three or more years of sales experience, or one or more years managing sales development
• Proven record of hitting goals and holding others accountable to success metrics
• Ability to build and carry out lead generation strategies across a team
• Skill at spotting and developing talent
• Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales tools, including coaching via Gong, Salesloft and Slack
• Strong cross department collaboration
