Operations and Compliance Analyst

About the role

You will support the money laundering reporting officer in keeping the business compliant with legal and regulatory duties, working within the first line of defence alongside the operations team.

What you will do

• Carry out customer and enhanced due diligence checks during onboarding and ongoing monitoring
• Monitor transactions on a live and retrospective basis, escalating unusual or suspicious activity
• Run client onboarding and periodic reviews, liaising with prospects and existing clients to obtain KYC documents
• Support onboarding of affiliates and referring partners and keep client records accurate across systems

What they look for

• Experience in a compliance or operations role within financial services
• Knowledge of CDD, KYC, EDD, source of funds and source of wealth checks
• Familiarity with PEP, sanctions and adverse media screening and transaction monitoring
• Sound risk based judgement and strong attention to detail
• Clear communication with internal teams, clients and banking partners
