Regional Sales Manager, North UK

About the role

A regional sales role driving revenue growth and market expansion in a defined territory. The person builds client relationships in technical and scientific wholesale and manufacturing and matches customer needs to safety solutions.

What you will do

• Grow relationships with new and existing clients to expand business in the region
• Find, qualify and win new clients through networking, cold calling and targeted outreach
• Build and carry out regional sales strategies aligned with company goals and market potential
• Prepare proposals, quotes and bid specifications that follow company policy and pricing
• Negotiate pricing, terms and service agreements to close deals and build lasting partnerships
• Track sales activity, forecasts and account plans in CRM and report regional performance

What they look for

• At least five years in B2B sales, including two or more in gas detection, utilities or industrial safety
• Proven success managing a territory and hitting sales growth targets
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation abilities
• Comfort with CRM software and Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel in the region, typically 30 to 50 percent
• Aptitude for building trust and managing complex, long term accounts
