Regional VP of Sales, West Coast

About the role

Lead field sales on the West Coast and build a repeatable, forecastable sales motion for a portable power platform, then scale it across North America. The role reports to a co-CEO who leads the commercial side.

What you will do

• Spend most time with customers in the field, prove the conversion motion, and turn it into a sales operating manual
• Grow existing accounts and win early adopters in selected trades before expanding nationwide
• Create a per-channel and per-customer-type playbook that new reps can turn into large revenue
• Hire, onboard and develop sales talent that owns the full customer journey, including services
• Set up a North American partner program with channel mix, partner economics and conflict rules
• Run the region on data, with CRM as the single source of truth and AI-driven leading indicators

What they look for

• Ten or more years in B2B sales, including five or more leading sales teams for hardware with layered software services
• Track record of scaling revenue from scratch to high double-digit figures and winning early adopters into mainstream adoption
• Hands-on seller who closes and expands demanding accounts personally and leads from the field
• Comfortable in construction, energy, utilities or similar physical industries, with regular travel across North America
