Sales Representative (Medicare)

About the role

Getting health coverage into the hands of eligible Medicare individuals through education, enrollment help and local presence. The rep works a defined territory and keeps enrollments accurate and compliant.

At a glance

What you will do

• Find prospective enrollees and check whether they qualify for the Medicare Advantage product
• Run home visits and one to one appointments to complete enrollment paperwork
• Promote the plan at hospitals, senior centers, assisted living facilities and community events
• Help members reach care, transport and other services when issues come up
• Keep up with marketing rules from regulators and give enrollees the right materials

What they look for

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• At least one year in marketing, sales or community relations, including managed care experience, ideally Medicare
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred, and some plans may require specific language skills
• State accident and health insurance agent license on hire
• Current state driver's license on hire
• Lives in Florida in one of the listed counties
