Senior Account Manager, IT Staffing

The job is about keeping contract placements running and renewals on time, then finding the next requisition, team or program. Retention, gross profit growth and client satisfaction are how the work is judged.

What you will do

• Act as the main contact for hiring managers, technology directors and VPs, HR, L&D and procurement
• Run the renewal calendar for every consultant and contract, flagging risk early
• Turn client needs into clear job requirements and review candidates before they reach the client
• Price new requisitions and renewals within margin guidelines and negotiate rate increases

What they look for

• Seven or more years in account management for IT staffing, nearshore or offshore technology services, or IT consulting
• At least three years of experience at a level this posting does not spell out
• Comfort working inside client vendor management systems, managed service provider programs and supplier scorecards
• Track record of growing accounts through extensions, bill-rate increases and cross-sell

First 90 days

• Gross profit across the book up at least 15 percent year over year
• At least a third of accounts buying a second service line, such as nearshore teams or AI skills programs
• Each account with a current plan and relationship map, and three or more active client contacts
