Senior Data Analyst

About the role

A foundational analytics role focused on the bronze layer of a medallion architecture, acting as the bridge between third party sources and collection systems so raw data is mapped, ingested and normalized for downstream teams.

What you will do

• Document data mapping that brings raw data from varied sources into the bronze layer of the data lake
• Document lineage and ingestion logic to support transparency and compliance
• Set up and monitor quality checks during ingestion to catch anomalies, missing values, schema drift and other issues
• Diagnose ingestion problems and put effective fixes in place
• Build dashboards that track data health in the bronze layer
• Promote operational excellence and ongoing improvement in data operations

What they look for

• Four or more years as a data analyst or in a comparable analytics role
• Strong SQL skills and comfort manipulating data in raw formats
• Experience with large datasets in a data lake environment
• Knowledge of ETL and ELT methods and best practices
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques

Nice to have

• Experience with complex healthcare data strongly preferred
