What you will do
- Manage, configure and optimize the Splunk infrastructure and connected systems across the enclave
- Build and tune servers and host or agent files following DISA STIG, DoD policy and vendor guidance
- Plan and implement infrastructure strategies, including deployment, data management and disaster recovery testing
- Apply security patches per IAV updates, ACAS reporting and vendor best practices
- Handle backup, recovery and archiving of host configurations through the data protection solution
- Monitor systems and traffic, report weekly, and log incidents in the ticket tracking system

- Red Hat Certified System Administrator credential or completion of the Red Hat System Administration I course
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Hands on Splunk administration experience
- Bachelor degree in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems or data science
- Strong communication and engagement skills, with willingness to travel for a week of onboarding
